SOCIAL GUIDELINES
ONE FC
Social Media Guidelines
Effective Date: April 23, 2026
These Social Media Guidelines apply to all members of the One FC community, including players, parents, guardians, coaches, staff, volunteers, and anyone affiliated with One FC programs, academies, and events worldwide.
Social media is a powerful tool. When used responsibly, it strengthens our community, showcases the talent and character of our players, and builds the One FC brand globally. When misused, it can cause serious harm to individuals, the club, and the sport we love.
By participating in any One FC program or activity, all members of our community agree to conduct themselves online in accordance with these guidelines. These guidelines apply across all platforms, including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X (formerly Twitter), YouTube, Snapchat, WhatsApp, LinkedIn, and any other digital or social communication channel.
1. Purpose and Scope
1.1 Why These Guidelines Exist
One FC is committed to maintaining a safe, respectful, and professional environment — both on and off the field. These guidelines exist to:
- Protect the safety and wellbeing of all participants, especially minors
- Preserve the reputation and integrity of the One FC brand
- Prevent bullying, harassment, and harmful conduct online
- Ensure consistent and appropriate representation of the club across all platforms
- Provide clear expectations so all members of our community know where the boundaries are
1.2 Who These Guidelines Apply To
These guidelines apply to all individuals connected to One FC, including:
- Players of all ages
- Parents and guardians
- Coaches, technical staff, and administrators
- Volunteers and club officials
- Partners, sponsors, and affiliated individuals
Any content posted publicly or privately that relates to One FC, its programs, staff, players, or events falls within the scope of these guidelines, regardless of whether it is posted from a personal or official account.
2. Official One FC Social Media
2.1 Official Channels
One FC maintains official social media accounts across various platforms. These accounts are the only authorized voices of the club on social media. All official club announcements, updates, results, and content are communicated through these channels.
Members of the community are encouraged to follow, like, share, and engage with our official content in a positive and respectful manner.
2.2 Unauthorized Accounts
No individual, group, or third party may create social media accounts, pages, or profiles that represent, imply representation of, or could be mistaken for an official One FC account without prior written authorization from THE CLUB. This includes team-specific pages, regional academy accounts, or fan pages using the One FC name or branding.
Unauthorized accounts that are discovered will be reported to the relevant platform for removal. THE CLUB reserves the right to take further action where necessary.
2.3 Content Submissions
Players, parents, and families who wish to share content featuring their One FC experience are welcome to do so in accordance with these guidelines. We encourage positive storytelling. If you tag One FC in your content, please ensure it reflects the values and standards of the club.
3. Standards for All Community Members
3.1 Be Respectful
All members of the One FC community must conduct themselves with respect and dignity on social media at all times. This means:
- Never posting content that is offensive, abusive, discriminatory, or harmful
- Treating coaches, teammates, opponents, officials, and other families with courtesy online as you would in person
- Avoiding confrontational, hostile, or inflammatory language in comments, messages, or posts
- Not engaging in arguments or disputes publicly on social media — concerns should be raised directly with the club
3.2 Zero Tolerance for Bullying and Harassment
Cyberbullying, online harassment, and targeted negative behavior toward any individual connected to One FC will not be tolerated under any circumstances. This includes:
- Sending abusive, threatening, or demeaning messages to players, coaches, or families
- Posting or sharing content intended to humiliate, embarrass, or harm another person
- Ganging up on or excluding individuals online
- Encouraging others to target or attack an individual
Any member of the community found to have engaged in cyberbullying or harassment may be removed from the club immediately and, where appropriate, reported to the relevant authorities.
3.3 No Discrimination
Content that is racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, religiously intolerant, or discriminatory in any form is strictly prohibited. This applies to posts, comments, reactions, shares, stories, and private messages related to the One FC community. Violations will be treated as serious misconduct.
3.4 Protect Confidential Information
Members of the One FC community must not share confidential, internal, or sensitive club information on social media without authorization. This includes:
- Internal club communications or decisions
- Player assessments, selection outcomes, or medical information
- Financial or operational details of the club
- Personal contact information of staff, players, or families
3.5 Do Not Impersonate
No individual may impersonate One FC, its staff, coaches, or any other member of the community on social media. Creating fake accounts or posting as another person is a serious violation of these guidelines and may also constitute a criminal offense.
4. Protection of Minors
4.1 Safety of Young Players
The protection of minors is a top priority for One FC. All members of the community must exercise particular care when posting content that involves or identifies young players.
4.2 Posting Images and Videos of Minors
Parents and guardians may share photos and videos of their own child participating in One FC activities. However, the following rules must be followed at all times:
- Do not post images or videos that clearly identify other people's children without the consent of their parent or guardian
- Do not share content that could compromise the safety or privacy of any minor
- Do not post images that show minors in situations that could be considered inappropriate, embarrassing, or exploitative
- Tag or identify individual minors in public posts only with the explicit consent of their parent or guardian
4.3 Adult-to-Minor Communication
Coaches, staff, and volunteers must not communicate with players who are minors through personal social media accounts or private messages. All communication with minor players must take place through official club channels, group messages that include parents, or with a parent or guardian copied in. This policy exists to protect both the safety of minors and the integrity of our staff.
4.4 Reporting Concerns
Any member of the community who becomes aware of content involving a minor that raises safety concerns — including inappropriate images, contact, or communications — must report it to THE CLUB immediately and, where applicable, to law enforcement or child protection authorities.
5. Representing One FC Online
5.1 Players and Families
When you post about your One FC experience, you are representing the club to the wider world. We ask all players and families to:

- Not share unofficial or unconfirmed information about club news, results, or announcements
5.2 Coaches and Staff
Coaches and staff members represent One FC in a professional capacity and are held to a higher standard of conduct on social media. Coaches and staff must:
- Maintain a professional tone and conduct on all public social media accounts

- Avoid engaging in debates or disputes related to the club on personal accounts
- Separate personal views from their role as a One FC representative when posting publicly
- Not accept friend or follow requests from minor players on personal social media accounts
5.3 Criticism of the Club
Members of the community who have concerns about club decisions, policies, or personnel are encouraged to raise those concerns directly with club leadership through appropriate channels. Posting public criticism of One FC, its staff, or its programs on social media is a violation of these guidelines and may result in disciplinary action.
6. Intellectual Property and Club Content
6.1 Use of Club Branding
The One FC name, logo, crest, colors, and all associated branding are the exclusive intellectual property of THE CLUB. Members of the community may not use One FC branding on personal or commercial social media content without prior written authorization from THE CLUB.
6.2 Sharing Official Content
Members of the community are welcome and encouraged to share official One FC content published on our channels. When sharing, please do so without modification and in a manner consistent with the spirit of the original post.
6.3 Club-Produced Media
Photos, videos, and other media produced by One FC or on its behalf remain the property of THE CLUB. This content may not be downloaded, repurposed, or redistributed for commercial use without written permission from THE CLUB.
7. Consequences of Violations
7.1 Reporting Violations
Any member of the One FC community who witnesses a violation of these Social Media Guidelines is encouraged to report it to the club directly. Reports can be made by contacting club administration at info@onefc.us. All reports will be handled with discretion and taken seriously.
7.2 Investigation
Upon receiving a report of a potential violation, THE CLUB will review the relevant content and conduct a fair assessment of the situation. THE CLUB reserves the right to request that content be removed immediately pending investigation.
7.3 Disciplinary Action
Violations of these guidelines may result in disciplinary action, which may include:
- A formal warning issued to the individual
- Mandatory removal of the offending content
- Suspension from training sessions, matches, or club activities
- Removal from the club without refund
- Reporting of serious violations to platform authorities, law enforcement, or child protection services
The severity of the response will be proportionate to the nature and impact of the violation. THE CLUB's decisions regarding disciplinary action are final.
