One FC Miami Heads to France for the Pouss’Cup

One FC Miami is proud to announce that its 2015 Boys Pre-MLS team will travel to France to compete in the 2026 Pouss’Cup, one of the most exciting U11 youth soccer tournaments in Europe.

The tournament will take place on June 6 and 7 at Parc des Sports de Roubaix, bringing together some of the strongest youth academies from around the world. For One FC Miami, this is a major moment. Our players will step onto the field against elite opposition, in a football environment where every detail matters.

And this year, One FC Miami will be the only academy from the United States participating in the tournament.

That makes this invitation special.

Representing Miami, representing One FC and representing American youth soccer on an international stage is something our players, coaches and families can be proud of. It is not something that happens by accident. It is the result of consistency, hard work, strong performances and the way the academy has been built over time.

The 2015 Boys Pre-MLS team will compete in Group A, alongside Juventus, RC Lens and FC Bondues. That bracket alone says everything about the level of the challenge. Juventus is one of the most recognized clubs in world football. RC Lens is known for its strong development culture in France. FC Bondues brings a local competitive presence into the group.

For our players, this is exactly the kind of test that helps development become real.

A tournament like the Pouss’Cup is not easy. It demands courage, focus and maturity. Players must adapt to a different country, a different football culture, unfamiliar opponents and a level of intensity that will push them from the first match. At U11, those experiences can shape a player’s understanding of the game in a powerful way.

This is why international competition matters so much in youth soccer. Training builds habits, but tournaments reveal them. Players learn how to manage pressure, recover from mistakes, stay connected as a team and compete with confidence when the game becomes faster.

For One FC Miami, the Pouss’Cup is also a chance to show what the club has been building.

The invitation confirms that the academy is moving in the right direction. It shows that the work done every week in training, the commitment of the players, the trust of the families and the standards set by the coaching staff are being recognized beyond the United States.

Being invited to a tournament of this level is an honor. Competing there is a responsibility.

The goal is not only to participate. The goal is to represent One FC Miami with pride, discipline and ambition. Our players will have the chance to measure themselves against some of the best young talents in Europe, while also showing the identity of our academy. Competitive. Brave. Technical. United.

For the players, this trip will be more than a soccer tournament. It will be a memory. They will travel together, prepare together, compete together and experience the game in a country where football is part of everyday life. These moments help young athletes grow, not only as players, but as people.

For the coaches, it is another opportunity to guide the group through a demanding environment. Tournament football teaches lessons that cannot always be recreated in regular training. It asks players to think quickly, communicate clearly and respond emotionally when things do not go their way.

For the families, it is a proud moment. Watching young players from Miami take part in an international tournament in France is a reminder of how far the academy has come and how much potential still lies ahead.

At One FC, development has always been about more than results. Results matter, of course. But what matters just as much is how players grow through competition. The Pouss’Cup will challenge the team technically, tactically and mentally. It will ask them to be focused in every action, brave in every duel and committed in every moment.

That is the value of this experience.

As the 2015 Boys Pre-MLS team prepares to head to France, everyone at One FC Miami wants to wish the players and coaches the best of luck. This is a proud chapter for the team and for the club.

Go compete. Go learn. Go enjoy the moment.
