One FC Boston Announces Its 2026 Pre-Season Camp

One FC Boston will host its 2026 Pre-Season Camp on August 1 and 2, giving young players the opportunity to prepare for the new season in a professional and demanding training environment.

The camp will take place at The Governor’s Academy, located at 267 Middle Road, Byfield, MA 01922, with sessions running from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM on both days. Open to boys and girls in the U8 to U13 age groups, born between 2013 and 2020, the camp is designed for players who want to sharpen their game before the season begins.

For One FC Boston, this camp arrives at an important moment. The academy is entering its first official season, and the pre-season program will help set the tone for what the club wants to build in Massachusetts: a serious, ambitious and player-focused soccer environment.

Across the two days, players will work on the foundations that matter most at the start of a season. Technical drills, coordination, shooting, dribbling and game-realistic situations will all be part of the program. The goal is not only to help players improve their individual skills, but also to train the way they see, read and understand the game.

This perceptive and cognitive dimension is a key part of the One FC approach. Modern soccer demands more than good technique. Players must learn how to scan, make decisions, react under pressure and apply their qualities in real match situations. The camp is built around that idea, connecting technical work with small-sided games and competitive exercises.

The coaching staff will be led by Bouba Kebe, One FC’s Technical Director and Head of Methodology. His role within the club is central to the development of One FC’s training identity, and he will bring that methodology directly to the players throughout the camp.

The event will also feature a special appearance from Blaise Matuidi, One FC co-founder and 2018 World Cup Champion with France. For young players in Boston, the chance to train in an environment connected to a player who competed at the highest level with France, Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus is a unique source of inspiration.

Robbie Robinson, Club Director of One FC Boston and former Inter Miami player, will also be part of the academy environment surrounding the camp. His experience as a professional player and his role in building the Boston project will help guide the standards expected from the players as they prepare for the season.

The camp is open to players from all levels. Whether a player is already part of One FC, preparing to join the academy, or simply looking for high-quality training before the season, the program offers a strong opportunity to develop in a professional setting.

With limited spots available, One FC Boston’s Pre-Season Camp is expected to bring together motivated players from across the area. More than a simple summer camp, it will be a first glimpse into the standards, methodology and ambition that will shape One FC Boston’s first season.

As the academy prepares to launch its new chapter, this camp represents the perfect starting point: two days of focused training, professional guidance and a clear message for young players in Boston: the season starts here.
